Named for the distance between the pitcher’s mound and home plate, the 60 feet 6 Foundation serves as a platform for Derek to lend his time, help grow awareness and offer direct financial support to charities dedicated to advancing the research and care for debilitating pediatric diseases, military veterans and their families, as well as organizations that focus on enhancing the well-being of the local community.

This year's fundraiser is benefiting the children's Cancer Fund and supporting them in the fight against pediatric cancer
